8 May 2025 - Fostering Innovation and Social Responsibility: A Recap of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (E&I) Day 2025
On 8th May 2025, the College hosted its annual Entrepreneurship and Innovation (E&I) Day, a vibrant event dedicated to nurturing students' understanding of how design thinking and entrepreneurial spirit can drive positive social change. Through engaging assembly sessions and interactive lunchtime activities, students explored pathways to transform their unique strengths into impactful actions.
A central feature of the day was the inspiring participation of three distinguished social enterprises. Students had the valuable opportunity to learn directly from:
Life To Life, which demonstrated how creative tools like board games can become powerful instruments for fostering inclusion and empowering coaches with disabilities.
EduAnimal, led by reptile expert Mr. 林錡浚, which offered hands-on learning experiences to dispel common misconceptions about certain animals, thereby cultivating empathy and understanding.
Inherited Sports, which showcased the unifying power of sports in bridging cultural divides and creating meaningful career opportunities for ethnic minority youth.
Throughout the day, numerous idea exchanges and interactive games facilitated a dynamic learning environment. These activities were designed to hone essential future-oriented skills such as creative problem-solving, effective collaboration, and the capacity for empathy-driven action.
The E&I Day reinforced a core message: "Empathy fuels passion, and passion drives entrepreneurship. When you care deeply, you don’t just build a business—you build a better world." The College is proud to see our students embrace this philosophy and is committed to continuing to foster an environment where innovation and social responsibility flourish. We look forward to seeing how our students will apply these valuable lessons to make a difference in the wider community.
