Held on a Friday night on 22nd October, the S6 Parents Night was undoubtedly a rewarding session for students and parents alike. The event started with a sharing from Mr Chris Chiu, who outlined the schedule for the next half-year. His sharing has resolved a lot of uncertainties in the final stretch of our secondary school life, getting students and parents on the same page. After that, our career master, Ms Dorothy Shum, briefly talked about university applications and the new SNDAS (School Nominations Direct Application Scheme). She also recommended students construct three plans to cater to all possible situations. Her recommendation was timely, as we are all about to choose our JUPAS university programmes. Finally, three parents of recent graduates shared their personal experiences when their children sat their DSE exams. Their experiences could help us prepare mentally for the upcoming challenges. I hope my parents can take a leaf out of their book!
