10 July 2024 - World Day
The World Day recently took place on 10 July during the post-examination period, bringing together students from all forms for a day of exploration and learning.
The event was divided into three distinct parts: "Innovation," "Cultural Exchange," and "Global Issues and Culture." Each part featured engaging booths co-created by our teachers and students.
In the "Innovation" section, students had the opportunity to witness the latest advancements in technology and science. They engaged in captivating mini-presentations and hands-on experiments that showcased the power of innovation in shaping our world.
The "Cultural Exchange" portion embraced diversity and encouraged students to appreciate different cultures. Through immersive activities, students explored traditions, customs and art forms from various countries.
In the "Global Issues and Culture" segment, students delved into pressing global challenges and gained a better understanding of the difficulties faced by different communities worldwide. Thought-provoking discussions, presentations, games and thoughtfully curated exhibits shed light on issues such as poverty.
The World Day event also incorporated the experiences of students who had participated in learning trips throughout the academic year. These students shared their experiences, transporting their peers to different countries and offering a glimpse into the diverse realities of our world.
Apart from students and teachers, our PTA also contributed to the World Day by providing an array of international foods. Students and staff had the opportunity to savor flavors from around the world.
Through the combined efforts of everyone, this event cultivated global awareness and encouraged students to become responsible global citizens.
