25 April 2023 - Ocean Park Career Discovery Tour

Students from S3 to S5 had the opportunity to attend a career discovery tour organized by Ocean Park. It was an informative and fun event that allowed them to explore various career paths and gain insights into the different departments in the amusement park.

The event featured booths representing different career positions, including event and entertainment, discovery and education, and water world operations. Staff members from these departments provided explanations of their work routines, answering any questions posed to them by students. There was also a cable-car rescue demonstration and close encounters with some aerial animals. The highlight of the day was the on-site interviews. Some students got to experience how an interview is conducted, and some even had the chance to audition for some performing roles.

The experience was highly beneficial for our students. It allowed them to gain valuable information about what kinds of careers are available in the park and what they need to do to prepare themselves. They could even explore some career options they had not considered before. We hope that this tour will inspire our students to explore the many opportunities open to them in the future.
