Vice Principal (Academic / Holistic & Student Development)

The Hong Kong University Graduates Association Education Foundation is committed to providing quality education for the next generation.  Founded in 2006, HKUGA College aims to nurture new elites with ‘vision, culture, ideals, commitment and dedication to excellence’. Together with HKUGA Primary School, the College provides a “through-train” education model under the Direct Subsidy Scheme, developing a school-based curriculum with an international element.

We are now inviting applications for the following leadership role commencing September 2025:

 

  • Vice Principal (Academic / Holistic & Student Development)

The successful candidate will assist the Principal in planning and implementing strategies with a focus on Academic and/or Holistic & Student Development aspects.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Possess a recognised degree in relevant discipline and matching professional qualifications;
  • Have at least seven years of working experience as a senior teacher (SGM) or equivalent in Academic and/or Holistic & Student Development of a school, preferably with a proven track record of successful senior leadership experience;
  • Well versed in developing and implementing the NSS curriculum.

Skills & Attributes::

  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills in interfacing with various stakeholders of the school;
  • Strong leadership skill with the ability to provide vision and direction across all aspects of day-to-day school operation and management;
  • Proficient in EdTech and knowledgeable about current and latest trends in pedagogies;
  • Thorough understanding of the school’s vision and mission and be innovative-thinking by embedding our fundamental values in the school’s strategies

Requirements:

  • possess a recognized degree and relevant professional teaching qualifications
  • have sound subject knowledge and teaching skills
  • demonstrate strong communication, management and interpersonal skills
  • have strong language skills, fluent in English
  • Basic Law and National Security Law Test (BLNST) requirement fulfilled
  • teaching experience in International Advanced Level (iAL) is an advantage (for post 1 & 2)

Guidance Counsellor

HKUGA College is now inviting applications for the above position commencing in mid-August 2025:

 

Roles and Requirements:

  • Provide counselling support to students, promoting their academic and social development.
  • Coordinate support group services and organize related events to foster student development and engagement.
  • Assist with general administrative duties for the Inclusive and Gifted Education Committee.
  • Possess post-secondary qualifications.
  • A background in Psychology, Counselling, and/or Social Work is preferred, particularly with training in Special Educational Needs (SEN).
