HKUGA College 20th Anniversary Open Day and Home Coming Party Arrangements

To all guests, alumni, and friends of our school,

The incident in Tai Po has caused profound sorrow in our community. We wish to express our solidarity with all affected families. We extend our deepest condolences to the victims and offer our sincere sympathies and support to the injured individuals and their relatives.

In these difficult times, the 20th Anniversary Open Day celebrations this Saturday and Sunday have been cancelled. The Admission Information Day, encompassing all admission talks, open classrooms and learning displays, will still be held as scheduled on both days. We view this event as an important opportunity for our community to gather and offer mutual support.

Furthermore, the Homecoming Party scheduled for Sunday will be postponed. Details of the new arrangement will be announced at a later date. We understand the heavy hearts many are feeling at this time. We look forward to gathering with our alumni in the future.

We sincerely invite the public to continue supporting our Admission Information Day. Let us also keep the victims in our thoughts, remembering the value of life and the importance of mutual support.
Thank you for your understanding and compassion.

Sincerely,
HKUGA College

INFORMATION &COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY

Purpose

Technology Department

Technology Education is comprised of three subjects – Technology & Living (T&L),  Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at the junior levels, and DSE ICT for senior students.

Aiming at fostering students' competence in problem-solving and building their confidence in applying emerging technologies, we never cease to update our pedagogical content knowledge and introduce new ideas into the curriculum. To further stretch students’ abilities and interests in technologies, a wide range of ELAs and competition teams are organized. In the ELAs, students can use the latest STEM technologies and be inspired by innovative ideas from their peers. The learning in and out of the classroom nurtures students to have creative and open minds.
