Students are required to dress formally on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They will wear their casual uniforms on the other three days of the week.

There may be additional guidelines given throughout the year and these will be communicated to students during assemblies and bulletins.

Hair, Make-Up and Accessories

Hair and eyes should be natural in appearance. Extreme hairstyles are not appropriate for school, and styles must be neat. Long hair for girls must be tied back when Health and Safety Rules apply, and hair should not cover the eyes but should be pinned back if necessary. Boys should be clean-shaven, with hair that does not cover the eyes or collar and the use of hair products limited only to neatening the style. Students are expected to look clean and tidy throughout the school day.

It is at the school's discretion whether a hairstyle is appropriate.  Students may need to have their styles corrected if inappropriate, with sanctions taken in the case of non-compliance.

Girls are allowed to wear a plain stud, on each earlobe. Boys must not wear earrings. The wearing of other accessories are not allowed. Religious items are to be covered by the uniform.

The wearing of make-up and nail varnish is not permitted.
